New Comedy Club To Open In July
Chef Kendall Selby is cooking up some funny business.
Thanks to the invitation and vision of Chef Selby of Middleton Hall to develop a unique partnership to benefit the community a new Comedy Club is coming to southern Maryland.
The House Of Comedy will provide an intimate and cozy venue for guests to relax and enjoy shows. The House Of Comedy will offer general admission seating as well as preferred and VIP seating that will include couch booths, bottle service, and a full dinner menu.
The House Of Comedy, operated by entertainment veterans, Tracy Wiggs and Darnell Dinkins, is scheduled to open to the public on July 5. The comedy club will be located inside the Middleton Hall event center in Waldorf, Maryland and will feature comedians seen on the national comedy circuit who have appeared on HBO, BET, The Comedy Channel, Showtime and Netflix.
“Comedy is a part of everyone’s lives. It’s a genre that has ability to reach all demographics. We saw a need for this type of entertainment in the southern Maryland and are happy to finally bring top talent to an area that has been welcoming us with open arms since the planning stages of this project,” said Wiggs. “We look forward to seeing everyone come out for great comedy, food and fun.”
The House Of Comedy schedule is set through December 2019, with DC Comedy Legend Teddy Carpenter kicking off the inaugural show on July 5 and 6. Other comedians scheduled to appear are Pierre, Del Harrison, Drew Frasier, Larry Lancaster and more. Performances will be held on Friday and Saturday nights, with two shows at 7:30pm and 10:00pm for each event.
