Young Artists Can Get Into Poetry Camp

Alas, all is not lost. Staying safe indoors does not close the mind to the arts. Summer fun continues in the virtual! And what better way to enjoy a summer’s day than listening to and learning about poetry and the sonnets.

Attached is information about and the application for "Expressions 2020 / Talk Up, Not Down," a free virtual poetry camp for Prince George's County teens ages 13-18. Application guidelines and contact information are attached for this virtual poetry camp that meets 3 days weekly for 2 weeks and concludes with a virtual poetry performance by the camp teens.  We invite family and friends to encourage your teens to participate in the Virtual Expressions 2020 poetry camp.   The application deadline is July 15.  

Parents, family and friends are encouraged to join us for the teens' culminating virtual performance at 3 PM, Sat. August 1 to see and hear them perform their original poems. We hope to see your teens at Expressions 2020.
