Greenbelt Arts: Camp Show, Art Share, and Artful Afternoon

 Summer plans are heating up. Whether you prefer to cool off inside galleries and museums or enjoy the sun with some outdoor activities, there is an art-related activity that fits the bill and right in the heart of Greenbelt, MD. Therefore, keeping track of events, exhibitions, openings, art fairs and festivals quickly gets overwhelming since there are so many to choose from, the Greenbelt Recreation ARTS has put together a Summer Guide on their website listing all the happenings.

 Creative Kids Camp Performance

Campers ages 6-12 and camp staff perform Chris Cherry's original musical "Summer Circus". FREE and open to the public; bring your own lawn chair! Additional camp sessions are starting soon; see the summer camp guide.

Mudcloth workshop with Artist in Residence Karen Arrington. Paint with pigments made from local mud, as inspired by the bogolanfini tradition from Mali in West Africa. Materials provided. Limited seating: sign up online.
