Braveboy, Oriadha Meet With Interfaith Leaders to Hear Concerns, Goals

County Executive Braveboy hosted her first Interfaith Prayer Gathering event Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at the Wayne K. Curry Building to listen to community reflections on current affairs, encourage community unity, understand faith perspectives, urge neighbors to support neighbors, and elevate Prince George’s County.
Prince George’s County Council Chair Krystal Oriadha joined the event as faith leaders shared their insights on what communities and congregations are most interested in addressing.
Bishop Anthony Maclin, one of several speakers who attended the meeting, said he was very pleased with the gathering and that the “county executive was very interested in hearing our concerns.”
Additionally, faith leaders held prayers and a laying of hands in spiritual support for Braveboy, her administration and the county over the months ahead.
