Fresh And Casual Eats Come to Hyattsville

Fresh And Casual Eats Come to Hyattsville

Honeygrow Brings Fresh Flavor and Fast-Casual Energy

Hyattsville’s dining scene is getting another flavorful addition—and this one comes with sizzling stir-fry, crisp made-to-order salads, and a little something sweet for dessert.

Honeygrow, the Philadelphia-born fast-casual restaurant concept, will open its newest Maryland location on August 24, 2026, at 3500 East-West Highway, Unit 1270, in Hyattsville. The opening will mark Honeygrow’s 82nd restaurant nationwide and its 15th Maryland location, expanding a footprint that now stretches across the Northeast and Midwest.

For Prince George’s County diners, Honeygrow arrives with a menu built around a simple idea: fast food doesn’t have to mean pre-made food.

The restaurant specializes in freshly cooked-to-order stir-fry, salads and honeybar desserts, offering customers plenty of opportunities to make a meal their own. Diners can select sauces, proteins, vegetables and other ingredients to customize their dishes, creating combinations that range from hearty and savory to lighter, nutrition-conscious choices.

Among the signature choices Hyattsville customers can expect are the Spicy Garlic Stir-Fry and OG Cobb, while dessert lovers can finish things off with an apple cobbler honeybar.

The atmosphere and concept are decidedly contemporary fast-casual: approachable, convenient and centered on freshly prepared food rather than the traditional assembly-line experience. It is the kind of restaurant that can work just as easily for a quick lunch, an after-work meal or a casual dinner with friends.

“Maryland continues to be an important part of Honeygrow’s growth, and Hyattsville is a community we’re really excited to join,” said Todd Miller, Honeygrow’s senior vice president of marketing. “We can’t wait to welcome our new neighbors and give them a taste of what makes Honeygrow different.”

Founded in Philadelphia in 2012, Honeygrow has grown to more than 80 locations in nine states. The company describes its menu as wholesome, flavorful and nutrition-forward, designed to accommodate customers with a variety of lifestyles.

The new Hyattsville restaurant will be open daily from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., making it an option for lunch, dinner and evening takeout.

For a community with an increasingly diverse appetite, Honeygrow’s arrival adds another fresh, customizable choice to the local dining menu—and another reason to ask: What are we having for dinner tonight?
