Laurel Regional Hospital to Reopen

The shutdown Laurel Hospital is being reopened.

Sources say a contractor has been given 3 weeks to get it ready to accept patients, according to WJLA.

After being downsized to a walk-in clinic in 2019, Laurel Regional Hospital, will provide 135 beds to start but is likely to increase that capacity. The move is in expectation of an influx of coronavirus patients.
