Keeping Wellness In Focus
Live Well Invites Families To Put Healthier Habits Into Motion
Between work deadlines, family responsibilities and the everyday rush, personal wellness can slip to the bottom of the list. Live Well, a health and wellness experience for everyone, offers a timely invitation to move it back to the top—and enjoy the process.
Scheduled for Saturday, October 24, 2026, the gathering brings together movement, food, community connections and opportunities to check in on personal health. Its message is approachable: Caring for yourself deserves a place in everyday life.
The morning begins with a Wellness Walk from 8 to 10 a.m. Participants will join the Spiritual Walkers for a walk around the Worship Center Campus before heading to the Community Life Center. It is an opportunity to enjoy some company, get moving and start the day with intention.
From there, the experience follows several practical themes, including: Move Well, Eat Well, Connect Well and Know Your Numbers.
Find Your Kind of Movement
Staying active begins with finding something enjoyable. Fitness demonstrations for different ages and abilities will introduce participants to ways of moving that fit their lives. With active aging also among the offerings, the event makes room for wellness across generations.
Bring Wellness to the Table
Eating well should feel inviting, too. Practical nutrition tips and cooking ideas will give families inspiration they can carry into their own kitchens. The emphasis is on making healthy taste good and turning everyday meals into opportunities for more thoughtful choices.
Make Connections That Count
Building habits can feel more manageable with encouragement and useful resources. Community organizations and businesses will connect guests with health and wellness information appropriate for the whole family. Those conversations may provide the starting point for a new routine or a helpful local connection.
Take Time to Check In
The “Know Your Numbers” component will offer screenings and information in a welcoming setting, encouraging attendees to give their health some attention.
Together, these activities turn a broad idea—stay healthy—into something personal and practical. A morning walk, a fresh meal idea or a conversation about wellness can be a meaningful beginning. Live Well invites participants to take that first step together.
