County Executive Angela D. Alsobrooks will take another step toward framing her administration’s first budget through a public hearing February 20.
The budget hearing will be held at Flowers High School.
The occasion marks the second community forum to be held by the county’s top executive in less than a month. Alsobrooks discussed the county’s legislative agenda at a Jan. 30 forum at Wise High School.
Several county directors provided clarity on how their agencies serve the public. “The purpose of [the] event was for people to meet the leadership of their government,” a source within the administration said.
The public hearing will start at 6:30 p.m. and county leaders will listen to residents’ priorities and interests for FY2020.
