Prince George’s County Council convened its FY2021 Operating Budget Hearing May 11 with a record number of residents participating in the virtual forum. Over 60 county residents called in with their concerns, comments and requests. Besides the financial concerns of the budget, Covid-19 and the impact it is having on Prince George’s were a main topic. County Council Chair Todd Turner kept the participant calls to two minutes per participant.

The budgetary conversation: Prince George’s County Proposed FY2021 Operating Budget, six year capital program, (including the capital improvement budget) and the Prince George’s County Board of Education portion of the county FY2021 Operating Budget, Proposed Budget of the Redevelopment Authority and Revenue Authority of Prince George’s County and the Constant Yield Tax Rate.
