M-NCPPC Planning Board and Planning Department to Relocate to Largo Headquarters
The M-NCPPC Prince George’s County Planning Board and Planning Department offices are moving to Largo starting November 9. Their new address will be 1616 McCormick Drive, Largo, MD 20774.
Aligned with the unified vision outlined in Prince George’s Plan 2035 – the county’s approved general plan – Largo HQ will create a centralized location for key M-NCPPC services and provide most residents and stakeholders easier access to meetings and public forums.
Following the Planning Board meeting on November 9, their data center and software products will be disconnected and offline. These platforms include, but are not limited to, the Development Activity Monitoring System (DAMS), On-Line Permits Tracking Systems, Person of Record Registration, Registered Associations, all dashboards, ArcGIS online applications, and more. However, their GIS mapping application (PGAtlas) will be available.
As a result, they will not be able to process or review permits or development applications during the move, though they will able to accept applications. In addition, the Planning Information Counter will not be open for in-person appointments and they anticipate that the data center will resume full operation by November 20, which will enable them to resume reviewing/processing permits and development applications. They also want to advise that their email and phone systems will be available during our move.
The Planning Information Counter will resume accepting in-person appointments on December 1, 2023. Until then, written correspondence should be mailed to the new headquarters. For more information on Largo HQ, visit http://largohq.com.
