Parkdale High School Educator Named Maryland History Day High School Teacher of The Year
Maryland Humanities hosted its annual friendly competition, ‘Maryland History Day,’ where students in grades 6-12 immerse themselves in a facet of history that interests them by researching it in-depth and presenting it in a creative way and local educator Thomas Stavely of Parkdale High School was named Maryland History Day High School Teacher of The Year.
11 Prince George’s County students won first or second place in their category at our recent Maryland History Day State Contest or received a Special Prize. First and second place winners will advance to the national contest next month. Details are below.
