Prince George's County Economic Development Corporation celebrates the naming of the University of Maryland Capital Region Medical Center in Upper Marlboro, MD as High-Performing in Five Adult Procedures and Conditions. The medical facility performs highly in five adult procedures and conditions, per U.S. News & World Reports.
UM Capital Region Medical Center is a state-of-the-art acute care teaching hospital supporting Prince George's County and the surrounding areas. The Medical Center was designed from the ground up for patient safety and patient experience.
The five areas include Heart Attack, Heart Bypass, Heart Failure, Diabetes, and Stroke. University of Maryland Capital Region Medical Center is a general medical and surgical facility.
