The 2nd Annual Career Takeover 2024: Bridging the Gap! Youth & Young Adult Symposium is scheduled for May 30th from 3pm-7pm at the Southern Regional Technology & Recreation Complex. The event's location is 7007 Bock Road, Fort Washington, MD .

The Career Takeover is sponsored by Employ Prince George's, Youth Career Connections, KEYS, and Parks & Recreation. It is presented as a golden opportunity for youth and young adults ages 16 through 24 to unlock the doors to their future career paths and beyond by exploring endless opportunities and gaining valuable insight into various industries.

According to the Employ Prince George's County Career Page (pgccareers.com), the Career Takeover is a dynamic event that is a gateway to connecting with employment opportunities, community resources, post-secondary options, and diverse industries. Youth and young adults aged 16-24 who need employment, training, and resources are invited to register for the Career Takeover at tinyurl.com/CareerTakeover2024. They can also scan the QR code on the flyer to register.

For four hours, those attending the Career Takeover are promised a time filled with possibilities as they connect with regional and national companies and programs. They will also discover firsthand the incredible resources and support available to kickstart their journey towards a fulfilling and successful career.

Employ Prince George's and the sponsors of the Career Takeover urge youths and young adults to take advantage of the exceptional opportunity to attend and lay the foundation for their dream careers.
