By now your mailboxes are packed with campaign advertisements and neighboring streets are littered with campaign signs. You're overwhelmed & confused and, even worse- you're considering not voting. All of this clutter and the negative campaigning have left you disinterested.
Whomever is elected will manage over 6 billion dollars of public resources that will be allocated to our public safety, schools & other infrastructure. Further, they will be the spokesperson for attracting business and creating jobs. Do we want all of this in the hands of leadership that danced into office? Or, do we want to set the agenda for where your tax dollars are spent? Whether you want to face it or not, leadership is in your hands. As such, I urge you to vote!
Vote on the issues that matter and make those who receive our vote accountable! Further, don't be swayed by so called "Democratic Slates," endorsements or polls. Do your homework and make the decision you think will advance our community.
In Prince George's County, Election Day is June 26th. Vote and make a difference!
