Ninth Annual Lake Arbor Jazz Fest Set For July 12 -15
Lake Arbor Jazz Festival is counted among the region’s premier jazz events. Now in its 9th year, many of the top artists; contemporary and traditional jazz and R&B, from across the country will participate in this annual event.
The festival will be held July 12-15
Many events will take place surrounding the Festival including music workshops and master classes, the always elegant Summer White Affair and Concert, the Jazz Festival proper- held at Lake Arbor Community Center- will feature a host of musical talent including Grammy award-winning guitarist Norman Brown, the Earth Wind & Fire tribute band InGratitude, and local all-female band Bela Dona to name a few. Family, friends and visitors to the jazz event in Lake Arbor will enjoy over 75 food and merchandise vendors, live music all day and the newest addition to the festival: the Lake Arbor Jazz Festival Wine Lounge. Closing the series is the blowout Sunday Jazz brunch. Performing this year will be a dynamic trio featuring Brian Simpson, Lin Rountree and David P. Stevens. Smooth saxophonist Art Sherrod, Jr. will also hold court and to open this talented line-up; vocalist Doreen Vail.
