Family Fun Day Set for July 27

A Prince George’s power couple is about to demonstrate how summer family gatherings should be done.

Residents, tourists and other guests are invited to join in on festivities at the Family Fun Day July 27 in Fort Washington, Md.

Held at the Tucker Road Sports Complex, several activities will be included as part of the fun from noon until 3 p.m.

The event is a first for freshman county councilmember Monique Anderson Walker (D-Dist 8). She co-hosts the event with her husband, Maryland Del. Jay Walker (D-Dist. 26) and the Prince George’s Department of Parks & Recreation.
