New Whole Foods Now Hiring
Whole Foods Market has signed a lease with the Cafritz family for the Route 1, Riverdale Park, MD property. Whole Foods Market has announced the opening of this site in its annual earning report and is advertising the Riverdale site on its website.
Recently, the trendy national brand has announced that it has begun hiring in the county.
March 21 and March 22 interviews are being held at the Hampton Inn College Park, 9670 Baltimore Avenue in College Park, MD. The interviewers focus on culinary on Mar 21 and produce and meats on Mar. 22. Spanish language interviews are being held, walk-ins are welcome (no appointment necessary).
Applicants are asked to bring an updated resume, government ID or driver’s license and an active email address/address for receipt of mail. Background checks (seven years) are part of the requirement for hire.
Leaders of the fresh foods giant have long argued that Prince Georgians are hungry for new grocery centers. “Prince George's County is underserved by grocers, the national average is 8,500 people per store, while Prince George’s County is currently at 11,400 per store,” reports Whole Food’s Riverdale Park website.
