County Council Non-Departmental Grant Funds Available
Nonprofits Looking To Receive Grant Funds Should Apply By May 26th
Nonprofits interested in grants are a good way to build your organization's visibility and credibility. Also, once you have obtained one grant, you are more likely to receive others. Non-profit organizations interested in seeking Prince George’s County Council’s consideration to receive the FY2024 County Council Non-Departmental grant funds must complete an online form. The deadline is May 26, 2023 at 5:00 pm.
The form must be completed in its entirety and an original signed formal consideration request letter (in pdf format) must also be uploaded. The formal consideration request letter should be no more than 2 pages in length and must contain a date, the organization's address, the preferred contact person's name, email address, and telephone number. Within the letter's narrative, candidates must identify the amount of FY2024 Non-Departmental grant funding being requested within the first paragraph, provide a justification for the need for the funds, and summarize how the proposed funding will be used to address the identified needs.
The required original signed formal consideration request letter should be addressed to:
The Honorable Thomas E. Dernoga, Council Chair
Prince George’s County Council
Wayne K. Curry Administration Building
1301 McCormick Drive, Second Floor
Largo, MD 20774
A grants team member will send an email acknowledging receipt of each non-profit organization’s formal consideration request letter. If, after three (3) working days of the date you completed the form, you do not receive such acknowledgment, please contact the County Council Grants Team at PGCCouncilGrants@co.pg.md.us.
