Reading is Forever
A Giving Tuesday Item That Will Last A Lifetime
Some things go well beyond a date and time. Reading is one of them.
As part of Giving Tuesday, the Prince George’s County Memorial Library System (PGCMLS) Foundation's goal of $20,000 will ensure that 125 children in Prince George's County are able to enjoy the gift of Books From Birth for the next 5 years! Your contribution today can truly make a real impact on budding young minds in your community.
With a one-time or recurring donation, you can help make sure that a child, ages 0 to 5, receives a free book in the mail each month for their home library. Your gift will help foster a child's love for reading and empower families to build strong learning foundations for their children.
Donate today to deliver the invaluable gift of early literacy by clicking here or by mailing a check to the PGCMLS Foundation, 9601 Capital Lane, Largo, Maryland 20774.
With support from the County Executive and Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, the Books from Birth program puts books into the hands of every young child in Prince George’s County. From birth until their 5th birthday, every enrolled child receives a monthly book, encouraging early literacy skills and fostering a lifelong love of reading.
