Dates: June 9 & 10, 2018: 10am-4pm
The 18th century comes alive on Benjamin Banneker's farmstead!
The Benjamin Banneker Historical Park and Museum will celebrate its ninth annual Colonial Market Fair on June 9 and 10 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at 300 Oella Avenue in Catonsville. This two-day event invites visitors to mingle with colonial re-enactors, craftsmen, and musicians. Watch a blacksmith, a woodwright, and a potter at work, participate in eighteenth-century African American and Native American cultural activities and greet Mr. Banneker himself! Visitors may also view the museum’s permanent exhibit on Banneker and explore a portion of the park’s 142 acres through guided trail walks. Free, however a $5 parking donation is appreciated.
