Starring Megan Hilty and Josh Radnor! Seymour Krelborn is a floral shop assistant who discovers a strange plant, which he affectionately names “Audrey II” after his crush. Little does he know that his plant will develop a soulful R&B voice and an unquenchable thirst for human flesh.

Here is Rydell High's senior class of 1959: duck-tailed, hot-rodding "Burger Palace Boys" and their gum-snapping, hip-shaking "Pink Ladies" in bobby sox and pedal pushers, evoking the look and sound of the 1950s in this rollicking musical. 

The "Greatest Movie Musical of All Time" is faithfully and lovingly adapted for the stage. Singin' in the Rain has all the makings of a Tinseltown tabloid headline – the starlet, the leading man and a love affair that could change lives and make or break careers! In silent movies, Don Lockwood and Lina Lamont are a hot item but, behind the scenes, things aren't always as they appear on the big screen! Meanwhile, Lina's squeaky voice might be the end of her career in "talking pictures" without the help of a talented young actress to do the talking and singing for her. Filled with every memorable moment from the film and a downpour of unforgettable songs, Singin' in the Rain is a guaranteed hit!

2nd Star Productions will be presenting the musical at the Bowie Playhouse at Whitemarsh Park from September 21 - October 19, 2018. Performances will be as follows: Fridays and Saturdays at 8 pm, Sundays at 3 pm, with the closing performance Saturday October 20th at 3 pm. 

Spring Awakening is a rock musical based on the 1891 German play Spring Awakening by Frank Wedekind. Set in late-19th-century Germany, the musical tells the story of teenagers discovering the inner and outer tumult of teenage sexuality. In the musical, alternative rock is employed as part of the folk-infused rock score.
