At the height of the Cold War, local Washington County boy John Schnell was chosen by the United States government to star in a film that was never intended to be shown in the United States. The Education of Johnny Schnell followed the daily life of an all American boy, and became a widely circulated propaganda film in Asia during the 1960s and 70s. General John Schnell will also share his photographs, film related memorabilia, and personal experiences.
