Support Charity With A Fun-Filled Family Foam Glow 5K Run/Walk

Imagine running or walking through a course as you get covered from head to feet in colored foam that glows from all the black lights that surround you.

If August is nearing and you’re thinking of the first day of school and still haven’t had a great summer, put your concerns to rest. You still have time to enjoy the summer with your family at the full-filled Foam Glow 5K walk/run while helping local charities.

Foam Glow 5K Maryland is a memorable, fun experience exposing runners to a 100% natural non-toxic glowing foam and a ton of high intensity black lights all over the course, causing anything white the runners are wearing to glow.

At the beginning of the 3-mile race, runners are wearing white t-shirts, like a clean canvas. By the end of the run/walk, they look like they fell into a tie-dye machine, all covered with different colored foam that glows under the black lights.

Glowing runners are a diverse group from all over the region – they are of different ages, shapes, sizes, and speeds, so all feel welcome. Whether you’re a long-term runner, walk-around-the-park stroller, or perhaps a dancer, the up to 5K Foam Glow 5K course will have you shining bright at the Foam Glow Zones and waiting for the next run. 

Maximize the fun and ensure that you glow by wearing a white shirt (any white t-shirt will work) – the more white the shirt is, the better it will glow. Some people wear white shorts to boot!

To enjoy this year’s event at Rosecroft Raceway, 6336 Rosecroft Drive Fort Washington, MD 20744 on August 10, you must register. The $40 fee goes towards local charities. Each registrant will receive a free Foam Glow 5K event t-shirt, finisher’s medal, racing bib and entry to Foam Glow After Party.
