Maryland Aviation Festival To Be Held At The College Park Aviation Museum

This summer, the Glenn L. Martin Maryland Aviation Museum will be participating in the first year of the Maryland Aviation Festival at the College Park Aviation Museum, with the MDOT, MAA, and other Maryland aviation organizations. The event is completely free.

Hosted by the Glenn L. Martin Aviation Museum, The Maryland Aviation Festival, held annually on the picturesque grounds of the College Park Airport in Prince George's County, is a vibrant celebration of the rich aviation heritage and technological advancements. Drawing aviation enthusiasts from across the region, the festival offers a captivating experience for visitors of all ages.

From thrilling airshows featuring expert pilots demonstrating jaw-dropping maneuvers to interactive exhibits showcasing vintage and modern aircraft, there is no shortage of excitement and adventure. The festival also presents informative workshops and fascinating discussions by industry professionals, providing a unique opportunity for attendees to delve into the world of aviation. Whether you're a dedicated aviation fanatic or simply curious about the marvels of flight, the Maryland Aviation Festival promises an unforgettable experience that will leave you inspired and in awe of the magnificent world of aviation.

“Celebrate all things Maryland Aviation! Enjoy a day of discovery and learning with aviation professionals and organizations from across the state,” reads the description released by the hosts of the event. “Enjoy aircraft displays, networking with aviation enthusiasts and professionals, kid’s activities, tours, demos & more. Explore the wonders of aviation and be inspired to soar!”

The event will be held Saturday, July 8, 2023, from 12:00 pm-5:00 pm. It will be held at the College Park Aviation Museum at 1985 Corporal Frank Scott Drive College Park, MD, 20740.
