Combating Domestic Violence Together
Third Red Flags Domestic Violence Community Symposium Takes Place May 3
According to the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence, on average, nearly 20 people per minute are physically abused by an intimate partner every day in the United States. Unfortunately, it is a common problem. To combat it will take a community effort.
On May 3, Prince George’s County Department of Family Services will hold its third Red Flags Domestic Violence Community Symposium aimed at increasing awareness of and help bring an end to domestic violence.
The symposium will include information on signs and red flags to watch out for and what to do if one is exposed to domestic violence. Resource information and networking begins at 6pm.
