The 2018 Campaign Season Is Underway

State Senator C. Anthony Muse has helped set the start of the campaign season in Prince George’s in June with his announcement to run for the office of County Executive. In June, the veteran public leader became the first to place his hat in the ring for the county’s top executive position in the 2018 campaign year.

Muse is now officially joined by States Attorney Angela Alsobrooks who announced her candidacy for the office from her childhood home in late July. Alsobrooks will be running on her positive track record in reducing violent crime.

According to election records, Lewis S Johnson is also running for the office.

Former U.S. Rep. Donna Edwards is rumored to be considering a run for the office but she has not declared as yet.
