The Tea On D3
What’s Cookin’ Besides The Sidewalks In District 3?
County Council Member Dannielle M. Glaros is no stranger to the business of taking care of her constituents. The former Chair and current member of Prince George’s County Council has her finger on the pulse of growth, zoning, education, infrastructure and working with her co-council members and the new County Executive. She has her hands full. But not too full to forget there is more to life than work—-especially in the summer. Here are a few ways to enjoy the summer in D-3.
Summertime Jazz
Riversdale House Museum Cools The Burn
This summer is one for the books. Eggs can be cooked and burned on sidewalks all over the DMV with this extreme heat. While escape to the beach is not always possible one can find relief in the sounds of cool jazz. Like water pouring over a mountain of ice, the sultry sounds of talented artists will cool the hottest brow. Pack a food basket, and bring a blanket or lawn chair.
