Alsobrooks Leads Bold Vaccination Effort
Prince George’s County Executive Angela Alsobrooks to the bold new step in the effort to put an end to the spread of COVID-19 in Prince George’s by launching an aggressive vaccination campaign May 4. She announced that all county residents aged 16 and over are not eligible for the vaccination and that the campaign will begin door-to-door efforts in areas of the county that are hardest hit by the pandemic and show the greatest need.
Alsobrooks said the vaccine distribution and education initiative will canvas online door-to-door and by phone.
“The end of this pandemic is in sight but only if we get enough of our residents vaccinated,” Alsobrooks said.
