Grants Open For Non-Profits
Prince George’s County Announces $1.5 Million in Grants for Local Nonprofits. Deadline Oct. 31
LARGO, Md. — October 8, 2025 — Prince George’s County Executive Aisha Braveboy has opened applications for the FY 2026 Community Partnership Grant (CPG) Program, making available $1.5 million in funding for local nonprofit organizations that serve residents across the county.
Applications officially opened on October 1 and will remain available until Friday, October 31, 2025, at 5 p.m. The program, administered through the Office of Community Impact, aims to strengthen the capacity of community-based organizations that improve residents’ health, stability, and overall well-being.
“In my first 100 days, we listened closely to the voices of our residents and community leaders about their needs, priorities, and hopes for Prince George’s County,” Braveboy said in a statement. “The Community Partnership Grant is one of the tools we are providing to empower our nonprofit partners to help address those needs. By making thoughtful, strategic investments, we can work together with our partners to strengthen families, expand opportunity, and create a healthier, more vibrant County for all.”
Since its inception, the Community Partnership Grant has been a key resource for supporting local nonprofits that deliver services such as job readiness training, food assistance, housing support, youth development, and senior outreach. The program reflects the county’s broader mission to build sustainable partnerships that drive equity and community empowerment.
To be eligible, applicants must be incorporated under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and provide direct services within Prince George’s County. Each nonprofit may submit only one application.
Application materials, guidelines, frequently asked questions, and a list of past recipients are available on the county’s website at princegeorgescountymd.gov.
County officials urge nonprofits to apply early to ensure consideration. Questions about the grant process can be directed in writing to the Office of Community Impact at PGNonProfits@co.pg.md.us.
The initiative underscores Braveboy’s continued emphasis on collaboration between government and grassroots organizations as a cornerstone of her administration’s commitment to inclusive growth and community well-being.
