The Race For County Executive
As March 4 Approaches, County Residents Get Set To Choose A New Top Executive. Try This Poll
County voters will take a step toward choosing a new county executive March 4. With so many candidates in the race (more than 10), voters will have an abundant range of choices.
South County Democratic Club President Courtney Finklea Green has been very active this election season, hosting a Feb. 5 candidates forum and leading a poll of the race.
The poll is unofficial and non-scientific, but Green says it may provide clues as to how voters are leaning in this special election.
“Engaged communities build stronger democracies,” Green says. “The South County Democratic Club is committed to amplifying the voices that shape our future. Take our quick poll and let us know what matters most to you—because when we listen, organize, and act, we all win.”
The poll is being presented in several formats and across several social media channels through February 28.
“I believe that every election is an opportunity to create lasting change. This special election is not just about choosing a leader—it’s about choosing a direction for Prince George’s County.”
