Prince George’s County took another step in shaping its future growth and development as County Executive Aisha Braveboy announced her nomination of Kevin A. Anderson to serve as chairman of the Prince George’s County Planning Board of the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission.

During remarks at the Wayne K. Curry Administration Building in Largo, Braveboy outlined the qualities and leadership experience she sought in selecting the county’s next Planning Board chair. She also shared the principles that guided the search process, emphasizing the importance of steady leadership, transparency and a commitment to responsible planning as Prince George’s County continues to experience unprecedented economic development and population growth.
