What: Z-Burger’s Tenleytown location in Washington, DC is kicking off the Independence Day Holiday with its 11th Annual Independence Burger Eating Championship. Six contestants from around the country will square off at the Nation’s Top Burger Eating Contest to see who can stomach the most burgers in the allotted ten-minute time period to win the grand prize of $1,250 cash. #1 ranked Molly Schuyler has won the last five contests and the 125-pounder will be back to defend her title. The contest has been paired down from the normal 16 contestants to just six so that the eaters can be spaced six feet apart. This year the contest is closed to the general public but open to all media.
Prizes: $3,100 in cash. The 2020 contest prize breakdown is as follows: first- $1,250 cash; second- $750 cash; third- $500 cash; fourth- $350 cash; fifth- $250 cash

Celebrate the 4th of July in the William Paca Garden
Join the celebration of the birth of our nation outside in the picturesque garden of William Paca, Signer of the Declaration of Independence. Bring along your family and friends and explore the kitchen garden, the physic garden, flower parterre and more! You may even encounter several colonial Annapolitans as you stroll through this 2-acre English garden. You will receive a map and a route for easy exploring, and family activities will be available.
Date: Saturday, July 4
Time: 10 am - 2 pm
Cost: $5 for Adults; $2 for Children 3-17 (2 and under free); Free for HA Members and Active Military
Registration (click here) is recommended for no-contact payment, but walk-ins are welcome
Safety First! Access to the Paca Garden will be limited in numbers based on the guidelines provided by the City of Annapolis and Anne Arundel County. Facial coverings are required, and hand sanitizer will be available for your use. We ask that you stay home if you're feeling ill. Please note that public restrooms will not be available
