After Christmas, don’t hang up the jolly good spirit just yet! And as the holiday celebrations wrap up, New Year's Eve is just around the corner and its just the right time for some good jazz music to pull your end-of-the-year celebration together. Jazz Artists Dianne Reeves, Chucho Valdés & Joe Lovano will grace the stage at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, DC on December 31 for two shows; 7 pm & 9 pm.
Five-time Grammy Award® winner Dianne Reeves is the pre-eminent jazz vocalist in the world today who displays her seemingly boundless collection of talents in every song. Winner of six Grammy® and three Latin Grammy Awards®, the Cuban pianist, composer, and arranger Chucho Valdés is today’s most influential figure in modern Afro-Cuban jazz. Grammy Award-winning saxophone titan Joe Lovano, hailed by The New York Times as “one of the greatest musicians in jazz history,” is widely recognized as a prescient and pathfinding force across all genres of music.
