An Evening of Connection, Celebration and Community Giving At UM Capital Region Health

*Oct 24, 6 pm – 11 pm

*Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center
Woodrow Wilson A

An evening of gourmet cuisine, dancing and connections will put community generosity in the spotlight when the UM Capital Region Health Foundation celebrates five years of giving, growth and impact on Saturday, October 24, 2026.

From 6 to 11 p.m., guests will gather in Woodrow Wilson A at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center, 201 Waterfront Street in National Harbor (Oxon Hill), for an anniversary gala that pairs celebration with a commitment to better health.

The evening promises opportunities to mingle, explore vendors and hear inspiring stories about the people and programs supported by philanthropy. Honors will recognize hospital service lines and departments for their dedication and recent accolades from leading news publications, bringing the work of health care teams into the spotlight.

For neighbors and community supporters, the gathering offers a closer look at how giving can strengthen access to care, advance innovative programs and support families during difficult moments. Behind the evening’s festivities is a message with lasting relevance: investments in health help shape the well-being and future of an entire community.

Foundation members will have an opportunity to celebrate the collective impact of gifts, partnerships and service. The anniversary also creates space for longtime supporters and new faces to connect around a common purpose, exchanging ideas and discovering ways to become involved.

Guests can participate by attending the celebration, while donors and prospective sponsors can explore opportunities to support the Foundation’s mission. Businesses and organizations interested in community giving can use the occasion to learn more about potential partnerships and engagement.

With dinner, dancing and recognition woven throughout the evening, the gala invites attendees to enjoy a social occasion while considering the difference their support can make beyond the ballroom. It is a celebration of accomplishments and an invitation to help sustain the next chapter of community care.
