Qlarant Foundation Expands Reach with Grants and New Support for Nonprofits
Nonprofit organizations working to improve health and quality of life in communities across Maryland, Texas, Florida, Georgia, and Washington, D.C., have a valuable opportunity to receive support through the annual Qlarant Foundation Grants Program. This year, the foundation awarded $325,000 in grants to 13 organizations while also extending capacity-building resources to every applicant.
The Qlarant Foundation, the charitable arm of Qlarant, focuses on helping organizations that address health and human service challenges, particularly for individuals facing barriers to care. Eligible nonprofits include organizations providing services related to social determinants of health, mental health, Alzheimer’s disease, food insecurity, pregnancy support, dental care, childhood cancer, and other critical community needs.
In 2026, the foundation selected 13 grantees from a competitive pool of 138 applicants. In addition to funding awards, every applicant received access to professional capacity-building consulting services through the foundation’s partnership with Catchafire, giving nonprofits valuable tools to strengthen their operations and expand their impact.
According to the foundation, organizations interested in future grant opportunities should monitor announcements from the Qlarant Foundation and be prepared to demonstrate how their programs improve health outcomes, provide direct care, or enhance community well-being. Applicants are typically required to submit detailed information about their mission, programs, community impact, and funding needs.
Since its inception, the Qlarant Foundation has awarded more than $8.5 million in grants, helping nonprofits deliver essential services and create lasting change in the communities they serve. For charitable organizations seeking funding and professional development support, the program continues to represent an important resource for advancing innovative health and human service initiatives.
