Mission of Love Charities Hosts Successful Gala

For over 25 years the Mission of Love Charities has found a way out of no way to help those who cannot help themselves.

On Nov 14, MOLC held “Together We Love: A Gala of Community And Compassion,” its annual gala where the festivities were enjoyed by some 250 guests and VIPs.

“We didn’t reach our specific goals, but we achieved our mission,” said MOLC Executive Director Adenia M. Bradley.

Bradley served as the keynote speaker. Sheila Curry, the wife of the late beloved former County Executive Wayne K. Curry who was instrumental in supporting the growth of MOLC, also addressed the audience. She noted that her husband would be delighted and astonished at what the Mission has become today.

Retiring Maryland Senator Ben Cardin was honored for his efforts in supporting MOLC and residents of the state of Maryland for over two decades.
