Councilmember Wala Blegay Celebrates Birthday Among County Councilmembers, Family, And Community Leaders
Councilwoman Wala Blegay was celebrated not only for her birthday but also for her dedication to Prince George’s County on July 27. The event, sponsored by many supporters at the Newton White Mansion, came to represent Ms. Blegay, who represents us! Special guests, such as the Too Much Talent Band, offered soulful jazz, with additional appearances by County Executive Braveboy and a variety of organizations. It was undoubtedly a night to remember for a respected leader of the community. Guests enjoyed an evening filled with laughter, heartfelt speeches, and recognition of Ms. Blegay’s committed service to the residents of Prince George’s County. Community leaders, friends, and family shared stories highlighting her unwavering dedication to public service, advocacy for social justice. Also discussed were Blegay’s commendable efforts to create programs that improve the quality of life for all residents.
